Below is an interview Mya had with KIIS.FM’s Laffit at the radio station’s GRAMMY Gift Lounge last week. The interview focuses on Mya’s involvement with the re-recording of “We Are the World.” Thumbnails for related gallery updates have been posted below as well.

I have a few gallery updates for you all. The first is Mya’s Harry O’s concert in Park City, Utah last month. I’ve added 55 photos of her on stage, backstage, and interviewing. I’ve also added photos of Mya arriving at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards and signing a Haiti-inspired skateboard at the GRAMMY gift lounge. Enjoy the photos.

Update: Contrary to reports made by ABC 2 News and PR Web, Mya will not be attending the “Rock to Rebuild Haiti” event. Her manager, Mike Killmon, recently confirmed this. We’ll keep you posted on any news tidbits and media, but in the meantime check out the “We Are the World” footage and photo posted yesterday.
I’ve added a photo of Mya at the “We Are The World 25 Years for Haiti” recording session last night. Mya along with several other stars are recording the track with Quincy Jones to help benefit efforts in Haiti. Enjoy the photo. The video is expected to air during NBC’s coverage of the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics on Friday, February 12 (source). Also, make sure to check out our January is Over post!

“My favorite part of the song — it would be the bridge [when Michael comes in],” said Mya, who hinted that Jackson’s voice might make it onto this version too. “I’m not exactly sure what I’m supposed to share. … We do hope [to have Michael's voice on the track].”
